Streamlined Editing with Auto-Apply Mode
A unique ”auto-apply” option has also been introduced that allows ChatGPT to execute changes automatically with no need for further user interaction. Alexander Embiricos from OpenAI’s product team showcased this functionality on social platforms and confirmed that a version for Windows will be released shortly.
Availability for Subscriptions and Future Rollouts
The direct editing feature is currently accessible to subscribers of ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Team who update their macOS app. OpenAI has plans to extend access to Enterprise users as well as those in Educational institutions along with free account holders next week.
