The Journey Begins

César Trigo’s previous experience involved collaborating with major corporations like Coca-Cola and McDonald’s where he developed apps requiring testing prior to launch. When asked about testers’ numbers at that time—approximately 1,000—the need arose for an equitable app distribution solution which led him to innovate from the ground up.

This initial challenge paved the way for conceptualizing Applivery’s first version: an app distribution platform designed specifically for overseeing pre-launch app lifecycles before they make their debut on marketplaces such as Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store. Following this development phase, game development studios rapidly adopted this platform for managing various stages from quality assurance testing right up until market release.

“Our connection was one reason why Supercell decided on investing in us; they were already familiar with our workings,” noted Trigo. “Looking internally at how they could optimize their own app distribution processes away from Microsoft App Center—which Microsoft is phasing out—they recognized value in what we offer.”

With Microsoft’s product being retired soon (by March 31), many prominent enterprises worldwide are transitioning towards utilizing Applivery’s services including notable names like Netflix and Citibank who have made recent migrations amid these changes.
