Africa Data Centres signs 20-year solar energy partnership with Distributed Power Africa

Pan-African information centre operator Africa Data Centres (ADC) has signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement with Distributed Power Africa (DPA) to provide its services in South Africa with renewable solar energy.

Under the phrases of the settlement, DPA SA will provide 12MW of renewable solar energy for Africa Data Centres services in South Africa. The energy will probably be delivered to the ADC’s services partly from the solar farm DPA is creating close to Bloemfontein, South Africa  to ship the primary 12MW required for the ADC information centres.
